A GOOD FRIEND

Now, I’m going to talk about my friend, Carla.

Carla is 12 years old, she’s from Banyoles, Catalonia, and she live with her parents ( Lidia and Dani ) and two brothers called Marc and Martí. Marc is 5 months old and Martí is 11 years old.

Her days are really busy. In the morning, she goes to the school and in the afternoon she goes to extracurricular activities like English, basketball or music classes. Then, she has a shower, she does her homework and she has lunch with her family. She usually goes to bed at 11 o’clock.

She loves playing basketball. She plays basketball in a team called “ Club Bàsquet Banyoles “. In her free time, she also plays the piano and the guitar. She sings in a group called CIC.

She’s got long, straight black hair and dark eyes. She usually wear jeans, a t-shirt and a hoodie. 

AIR POLLUTION

Air pollution is a big problem in our world. It comes from transports and factories as well. If we don't stop it, our world will be very polluted and we won't breath well too.

There is a lot of traffic on our roads. We can solve the problem if we go cycling or walking, because it's better for the environment than traffic.

We can also think more carefully about the air pollution that factories release. If in the future there would be less factories than now, the air would also be less contaminated. 

AN EVENT

Last 14^th of August, I went to a concert of 2 vocal groups called Deudeveu and In Crescendo in the festival of Cap Roig with my family. I decided to go, because I love vocal groups, especially Deudeveu.

 We arrived at the concert at half past eight, because the concert started at nine o’clock. I felt very excited at first, but then I sang and danced during all the concert! Also, I was very nervous because I wanted to give a special present to Deudeveu.

The concert finished at 23:00 but we left at 12 because I met them and I gave a present. It was a very special moment! I really enjoyed it because I could listen, see and meet them too!

SPORTS EVENT

Last summer, I went to a paddle competition with my mother, my friend Abril and her mother in the Club Tennis Banyoles. Also, in the event, there were my friends Pol, Aleix and Joel.

The competition started at 9 o’clock and it finished at approximately 4 p.m. It was a team competition, there were 2 teams, the blue one and the white one. My mother, Abril’s mother, Abril and I, were in the white team. I played 4 matches, one with Abril and another with my mother. The competition was very exciting, but unfortunately, our team lost.

At 1 p.m., we had lunch with all the people who played the matches in “SET”, the restaurant of the Club Tennis Banyoles. It was a different lunch! I really enjoyed the event because it was a lot of fun and I met other people from Banyoles. I would like to do it again! 

MY LAST SUMMER

Oral presentation

Hello! My name is Irina and now, I'm going to explain my last summer holidays. First of all, I'm going to talk about my trip to Portaventura and my English and padle classes, then, I'm going to talk about Platja d'aro, and finally I'm going to explain my cruise experience aboard the Norwegian Jade.

When I finished the school, the first weekend I went to Portaventura with my parents and my cousins. It was very funny! We stayed in the Gold River hotel for 2 days. The first day, we went to a lot of rides like the Dragon Khan, Stampida and also, we saw a show. The second day we did the same.

At the end of June and in earl

y July, I went to padle classes with Jana, Clàudia and Martí Félez in Triops club and in the Tennis club. Also, I went to English classes twice a week with Carla and Jana in Ellen's house.

At the end of July and in early August I stayed in my Platja d'Aro house with my family and my grandmother. Those days I went to the beach, and also shopping.

At the end of the summer, I went to a cruise with my family. It was an amazing experience! We started the trip in Venice, and the other days we went to Corfú, Santorini, Mykonos and finally, in Olimpia. The cruise was awesome, in it, there were a lot of things that you can do. There were 2 swimming pools, 4 jacuzzis, a theatre, restaurants, a video arcade, a lot of different lounges… I loved Santorini and Mykonos, they were lovely cities because all the houses were white and blue. I really enjoyed this trip, I would like to do it again!

AN EXPEDITION:

Monday 22nd July:

I'm going to go on an expedition next Wednesday. We're going to stay in a campsite in The Alps. I'm going to take a torch, a compass, a tent, sunscree and insect repellent. I must take my laptot too, because I want to continue this blog. 

Wednesday 24th July:

Right now, I'm in my tent. It's very  hot and sunny, and we're staying next to the woods and a river Later, I'm going to swim in the river and also, I'm going to go kayaking. I'm going to wak too. 

Thursday 25th July:

Yesterday it was a great day! We had a great time and the river wasn't very cold. Kayaking was amazing and very exciting. Tomorrow, we're going to climb a little mountain and walk. I must take my compass and a first-aid kit!

MY DAY:

On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday I usually get up at eight o'clock, but on Friday and Wednesday I get up at half past seven. Then, I wash my face, I get dressed and finally, I have breakfast. Usually I eat a toast and I drink milk.

At twenty to nine, I leave home and I go to school by car. Sometimes, I go to school by bike, but in this case I leave home at half past eight. On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, the school starts at 9 o’clock, but on Wednesday and Friday the school starts at half past eight. Then, we study a lot of subjects like Maths, English, Catalan, Social Studies, Spanish,.. Then, on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday I have lunch at half past one at the canteen or at home, but on Friday and Wednesday I have lunch at 3 o’clock at home.

On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, the school finishes at 5 o’clock, but on Friday and Wednesday it finishes at 3 o’clock. Then, I go to my house, I go to extracurricular activities and also, I do my homework. When I finish my homework, I have a shower , I have dinner with my family and then I watch the TV. Usually, I go to bed at eleven o’clock, but somedays I go to bed at half past ten.

MY WEEK:

On Mondays, I go to Art classes at half past six. On Tuesdays, I go to English classes at seven o’clock. On Wednesdays, I go to tennis classes at half past five. On Thursdays, I go to music classes at half past six. On Fridays, I go to piano classes at four o’clock. Also, on Saturdays I go to tennis classes at half past eleven.

MY WEEKEND:

On Saturday, I usually get up at ten o’clock and I have breakfast. Then I do some of my homework and at half past eleven I go to tennis classes. When I finish my tennis classes I go to my house and then, I have shower. At 2 o’clock, I have lunch at my grandmother's house with my mum’s family. At 4 o’clock I go to my house and usually I do some of my homework. Some Saturdays, I go to Girona with my family. We have dinner at 9 o’clock and then we watch the TV. We go to bed at midnight.

On Sunday, I usually get up at 10 o’clock and I have breakfast. Then, I finish my homework and I study some subjects. I have lunch at 2 o’clock at my grandparents house with my dad’s family. When we finish, we go home and we relax. Usually, I go to bed at 10 o’clock.
